Vintage Reinstein Ross 22k and Pearl large stud earrings, signed
Gorgeous vintage Reinstein Ross pearl stud earrings with clips, in solid 22k gold. These are just stunning, featuring very finely-made gold work including granulation around the edges, and signed on the back, Reinstein/Ross 1991, and 22k. There is also a third word, which I imagine in the name of the design, as other pairs of vintage R/R earrings I've owned often have the design name engraved on them. I can't make out all of the letters that are signed, but it appears to say something approximately like "chartresw", which is clearly not quite right, but that's what I can make out! These are in excellent pre-owned condition but are vintage earrings, and they do have bent posts- I haven't bothered to have my jeweler straighten them as I've not had any difficulty wearing them. One of the pearls moves ever so slightly in its setting- it is very secure and will not fall out, but there's a small bit of wiggle room side-to-side- so little that I never noticed it until inspecting them very closely today.
Size: These are large! the studs measure 23mm in diameter. The total weight of the pair including backs is 22.6 grams. At just over 11 grams per earring, they are heavy- something to consider! I personally find them very wearable as they have clips that help distribute the weight so that they don't pull on your piercings, but I know that some people would find them heavy.
